The Jewish Pro-Life Foundation respects and encourages the healing journey of every Jew who has experienced grief, guilt, anger, disappointment, and regret after an abortion experience: mother, father, sibling, grandparent, religious or secular. If your abortion experience is as an abortion clinic worker, we would be happy to help you too. The spiritual wounds run deep for those who have chosen to end a precious life or help end a precious life. We encourage you to find relief and healing. Please draw from this healing experience. Confidentiality and privacy are guaranteed.
This program offers a healing path for Jews who are looking for a confidential, safe, accepting and compassionate Jewish program to address the deep personal issues that arise after an abortion. The program is based on the Jewish concept of Teshuvah and the promise of healing in Judaism. Women who have had an induced abortion often find themselves in emotional difficulties at one point or another. Sometimes it can even take months or years for the difficulty to arise. A trigger such as the arrival of a baby or the expected due date can strike suddenly and cause feelings of grief, depression, anxiety, and regret.
Most women who have experienced an induced abortion or multiple abortions keep it a secret and do not share the pain of loss with anyone due to feelings of guilt or shame, while loneliness only increases the feelings of pain and trauma.
Men also suffer if they were unable or unwilling to protect their unborn baby. We also offer healing assistance to fathers.
Our program is available as a one-day group workshop, as an individual experience, or please join us for our weekly healing hour.
We host a weekly healing audio only zoom meeting for Jewish women and men who suffer after abortion. This is a one hour audio zoom call. No video. No recording. No fee. You can register under an alias if you worry about your anonymity. We meet two times every Thursday. We meet at 12 noon ET (19:00 Jerusalem Time) to accommodate our friends in need in Israel. At this meeting we enable Hebrew captions and provide Hebrew language documents, We also meet at 7 pm ET. All outside of Israel are welcome to attend this meeting.
We screen share and read the Tikvat Rachel materials. These include the brochure overview and the workbook. These documents are available on our website on the After Abortion page and will be shared in the chat. Sharing is voluntary. Just listening is OK. Our program is Teshuvah based. It works. No judgement here. Only love and understanding.
